Single Player Walkthrough (a.k.a. The New Goblin Maps)
In this article, I am going to cover The New Goblin Maps. Supercell added 25 new villages to the Goblin Map in the October 2018 Update. There are currently 50 villages in the Goblin Map and 75 total. This article will not contain as much ‘basic’ info because I covered everything in the How To Beat The Goblin Map article. This article will get right into the info you need.
Since there aren’t any articles online that go into details on the New Goblin Map, I do not have any references to cross-check while creating this walkthrough. There are a handful of good videos covering the New Goblin Maps. I have tried to go through the New Goblin Map on my own, and I have gotten in the high 90%, if not 100%, on some villages. Some are a bit tricky and require very precise troops, spells, and troop placement.
With that being said, I am going to use the walkthrough videos from Jaso. They are the ones that I have used, and they work extremely well. There is only one village that is very picky about troop placement. I have tried other troops, and I keep getting so close. The only other change is the Dragons Lair. He used the skeleton spell on the Dragons Cave to remove it before the Dragon could come out. Supercell has changed that; the Dragon will automatically come out before the cave is destroyed.
Some new items for the New Maps are the Goblin Town Hall upgrade. It still looks the same, but it now acts like the Giga Tesla and will start shooting at your troops when you get close. The Goblin Castle is another new item that is just like your Clan Castle and is loaded with troops that will come out and attack your troops when you get too close. Finally, there is the Dragon Cave. This is only on the final village, Dragon’s Lair, and it is home to the Giant Dragon. It works like a Clan Castle, and the Giant Dragon will come out and attack your troops when you get too close.
NOTE: These strategies for the new Goblin Villages as based on you being a Town Hall 8 or higher. So if you are doing the Goblin Maps at a higher level, then, of course, you will have higher troop levels, higher-level/more Heroes, more space to take more troops with you, and even the option of bringing a siege machine.

Strategy:
This is the final Goblin Map village level. The Dragon Cave is on this level. When your troops get close enough, the Giant Dragon will emerge from the cave. Or when the Dragon Cave has taken enough damage, the Giant Dragon will come out. This is a recent change because you used to be able to destroy the Dragon Cave with something like a Skeleton Spell, and that would have the same effect as destroying a Clan Castle before the troops deploy.
The troops and the Giant Dragon will not come out when that happens. Supercell released an update to stop that from happening, so you are forced to fight the Giant Dragon. The Giant Dragon is much stronger than the regular Dragon, Baby Dragon, Electro Dragon, or Dragon Rider and deals more damage than any.
This guide/walkthrough is fully updated as of Nov 2022.
