Single Player Walkthrough (a.k.a. The New Goblin Maps)
In this article, I am going to cover The New Goblin Maps. Supercell added 25 new villages to the Goblin Map in the October 2018 Update. There are currently 50 villages in the Goblin Map and now there is 75 total. There will not be as much ‘basic’ info in this article because I covered everything in the How To Beat The Goblin Map article. This article will just get right into the info you need.
Since there really aren’t any articles online that go into details on the New Goblin Map, I do not really have any references to cross-check while creating this walkthrough. There are a handful of good videos covering the New Goblin Maps. I have tried to go through the New Goblin Map on my own and I have gotten in the high 90% if not 100% on some of the villages. There are a few that are a bit tricky and require very precise troops, spells, and troop placement.
With that being said I am going to use the walkthrough videos from Jaso. They are the ones that I have used and they work extremely well. There is only one village that is very picky on the troop placement. I have tried other troops and I seem to keep getting so close. The only other change is the Dragons Lair. He used the skeleton spell on the Dragons Cave to remove it before the Dragon can come out. It seems Supercell has changed that and the Dragon will automatically come out before the cave is destroyed.
Some new items for the New Maps are the Goblin Town Hall upgrade. It still looks the same, but it now acts like the Giga Tesla and will start shooting at your troops when you get close. The Goblin Castle is another new item that is just like your Clan Castle and is loaded with troops that will come out and attack your troops when you get too close. Finally, there is the Dragon Cave. This is only on the final village, Dragon’s Lair, and it is home to the Giant Dragon. It works just like a Clan Castle and the Giant Dragon will come out and attack your troops when you get too close.
NOTE: These strategies for the new Goblin Villages as based on you being a Town Hall 8 or higher. So if you are doing the Goblin Maps at a higher level, then of course you will have higher troop levels, higher-level/more Heroes, more space to take more troops with you, and even the option of bringing a siege machine.

This is the final Goblin Map village level. The Dragon Cave is on this level. When your troops get close enough the Giant Dragon will emerge from the cave. Or when the Dragon Cave has taken enough damage the Giant Dragon will come out. This is a recent change because you used to be able to destroy the Dragon Cave with something like a Skeleton Spell and that would have the same effect as destroying a Clan Castle before the troops deploy. When that happens, the troops and or the Giant Dragon would not come out. Supercell released an update to stop that from happening, so you are forced to fight the Giant Dragon. The Giant Dragon is much stronger than the regular Dragon, Baby Dragon, Electro Dragon, or Dragon Rider and deals out more damage than any of them.
This guide/walkthrough is fully updated as of Oct 2021.
There are 50 levels that comprise the original Goblin Map. There are 75 levels in total with the New Goblin Map levels. In the Goblin Map, you go through a section where you attack a base that is run by the Goblin Village and not another player.
While in the Goblin Map area you will not lose your shield in any way, you also do not win or lose any trophies and there is no time limit to your attack. Also, there are no loot bonuses, and the stars scored do not count towards the Star Bonuses.
However, the loot gained from the Goblin Maps does count towards the Monthly Perks section adding to the Season Bank total. If you lose your Internet connection the battle will not finish itself out, it will just be done at the point of disconnect.
The Goblin Maps are also part of the Home Village Achievements where when you get stars you can also earn free gems for ‘Get Those Goblins’ and now ‘Dragon Slayer’ for defeating the dragon in the final map.
If you have not started any of the Goblin Map (Outside of the first one ‘Payback’ in which you are forced to play in the very beginning training portion of the game.) and you are in a higher level Town Hall, you can use just a single balloon troop and clear out many of the lower Goblin Map Villages because there are no Air Defenses, Archer Towers or Wizard Towers.
Even when you get to Goblin Villages that do start to have any of those three, it will only take just a few more balloons to finish them off.
This walkthrough will assume you are doing the Goblin Map from the beginning, and working your way up. Like I said previously if you are a Town Hall 8, 9, or 10 just a handful of Balloon troops will get you through most of the early attacks without any effort.
In each mission or village base you attack you will get a reward of Gold, Elixir, and eventually Dark Elixir for beating each Goblin base/village. You can only collect each of the resources for each village only once.
Also, the damage for each level will reset after each attack, so for example, if you get a 56% in one attack and you go back in for another attack you will not start back at 56% already destroyed. It will start back at 0% as if you have never attacked that base.
Loot From The Goblin Map
Adding up all the loot from the entire Goblin Map: If you completely finish out the entire original section (the first 1-50) of the Goblin Map you will get 5,860,000 Elixir and 5,704,000 Gold. In the second (new) Goblin Map you start to get Dark Elixir as well as Gold and Elixir. **NOTE: These numbers may or may have changed since they are constantly updated Clash of Clans.
Achievements And Free Gems From The Goblin Map
Along with the loot you also get achievement awards (Free gems). **NOTE: These also have changed over time and could change in the future as Supercell updates their game. Currently, there are three that you can get. “Get those Goblins”, “Get those other Goblins”, and “Dragon Slayer”.
The first will give you 35 gems for achieving 150 stars on the Goblin map. The second will give you 170 gems for getting all 225 stars in the Goblin map, and 20 gems for slaying the giant dragon in the last level of the Goblin map.
Here is a list of the exclusive buildings found in the Goblin Map.
Goblin Town Hall
Size: 4×4 Hit Points: Same as a Player Town Hall of the same Level. Trigger Radius: N/A
The Goblin Town Hall is the main building in the Goblin map section. It works exactly like the player Town Hall. The look and feel stays the same from levels 1-12, with the only difference being the Hit Points of the Goblin Town Hall.
The level 12 Goblin Town Hall has a weapon just like the Giga Tesla from the player Town Hall and will shot at you when you are within close range. The loot collected from the Goblin Maps is evenly divided between the Goblin Town Hall and the Gold and Elixir Storages. If there are none all of the loot is in the Goblin Town Hall.
Size: 2×2 Hit Points: 250 Trigger Radius: N/A
The Goblin Huts are non-defensive buildings and are inspired by a Clash Royale Building of the same name. That is just similar to the Builder Huts in the Player bases.
Size: 3×3 Hit Points: 4,000 Trigger Radius: 13
This is identical to the Player Clan Castle, but for Goblins of course. It houses troops as well, but normally holds more than what a Clan Castle can hold. So be prepared for more troops than the maxed 40 housing space a normal Clan Castle can hold.
Size: 4×4 Hit Points: 25,000 Trigger Radius: 13
This building is only in the final level ‘Dragons Lair’ and it is the home of the Giant Dragon. Outside of that, it functions just like a Goblin Castle, spawning troops (only the Giant Dragon) whenever troops get close to it.
I just recently created a brand new account with the sole purpose of walking through the entire Goblin Map from the very beginning. I know Chief Pat created a walkthrough of the Goblin Maps, but it was from Oct 2012 and he had already cleared out most if not all of the Goblin Map, and he just goes back through them. (Which isn’t a bad thing, it’s just how he does it.)
If you would like to watch my entire playlist, instead of reading this entire walkthrough you can do so here Clash of Clans Goblin Map Walkthrough 2021. This playlist also includes me creating a brand new account along with going over the Practice levels as well.
A Side Note on the “Alternate Strategies” listed below
If you are a Town Hall 3 you can rebuild the Clan Castle, giving you 10 housing spaces or enough for 2 balloons. Rebuilding the Clan Castle costs 10,000 Gold, but does not require a free Builder and its reconstruction happens instantly.
At Town Hall 4 you can upgrade the Clan Castle to level 2, for 100,000 Gold, giving you room for 3 Balloons. Then if you join a clan you can potentially get some high-level Balloons.
At this point, you can request balloons for your Clan Castle and 3 star any of the Goblin Villages that have “or 1 Balloon” as the listed Alternative Strategy. Also at Town Hall level 4 you can upgrade your Barracks to level 6 and get the Balloon troop.
You will not get too far using 1 level 1 balloon on most of the Goblin Villages unless it does not have any Archer or Wizard Towers. If there are none of those types of defenses, then 1 level 1 Balloon will clear out the Village. If you were to train up an army of level 1 Balloons, you could use them sparingly and clear out many of the Goblin Villages below.
Also, this isn’t the end all be all of how you can defeat the Goblin Maps. If you are starting from the very beginning of the game you are of course limited to the troops you have available to you. If you are a higher level and going back to finish up the Goblin Maps you will have a much larger troop list to pick from and many if not all of them will work just fine to clear out the Goblin Map.
Like I said earlier, this guide assumes you are starting from the beginning, but even then, there will be different troop combinations that can and will clear out the Goblin Map. I am just giving you one, two, or sometimes even three options of troops you can use to clear out each village. Testing out your own troop combinations to see what will and won’t work is one way to grow into an excellent player.
Also as of Oct 2021 Supercell has added in a note to all of the Goblin Map villages to tell you what Town Hall they recommend you to have in order to defeat the village. I don’t know when they actually added that to the game, but it is in there now. Is it exact? No.
From what I have found out you can get through at least 2 or 3 more villages than what they tell you. for example if you are a Town Hall 4 and it says the next 3 villages it recommends Town Hall 5, you should have no issues getting through them at Town Hall 4.
NOTE: The “references” to each of the village names are purely speculation on my part and are not confirmed or verified by Supercell.
Single Player Walkthrough (Villages 1 – 50)
Loot Available: 500 Gold and 500 Elixir Traps: None Troops Needed: 1 Wizard Strategy: This Village is one you are forced to do in the very beginning tutorial. Your only option for troops at the time is the 3 Wizards you are given at the start. Deploy 1 of those Wizards on the Cannon to destroy it, then they will destroy the rest. (Edit: You used to get 5 wizards when you started the goblin map, now you get 3.) Alternative Strategy: N/A
Payback Village is in reference to the Goblins attacking your base and you are now getting ‘payback’.
Loot Available: 500 Gold and 500 Elixir Traps: None Troops Needed: 5 Barbariansor 2 Balloon Strategy: This Village is one you are forced to do in the very beginning tutorial as well. Your only option for troops at the time is the 3 leftover Wizards or the 8 Barbarians you are forced to train at the start. Deploy either 2 of those Wizards or 5 Barbarians on the Archer Tower to destroy it, they will then destroy the rest. Alternative Strategy: N/A
Goblin Forest is the first village to have Walls. Also, it is the first village to have the Archer Tower. Other sites say that the Archer Tower is first introduced in the Watchtower village.
Goblin Forest is in reference to… I have no idea because there are 4 trees, which isn’t exactly a ‘forest’. Although there is a Goblin Forest in New Zealand.
Loot Available: 1,000 Gold and 1,500 Elixir Traps: 1 Bomb (on the side) Troops Needed: 20 Barbarians or 1 Balloon Strategy: This will be the first Goblin Map Village that isn’t part of the tutorial. Deploy 10 Barbarians onto each Cannon through the main opening, they will destroy the two Cannons and then rest. Tip: You can put them inside of the base next to the cannons since there is an open area to deploy troops on. Alternative Strategy: Deploy the Balloon or Clan Castle with Balloons and it will destroy the entire village.
The Goblin Outpost is the first map that introduces level 2 walls. It is not really part of the base, so other sites say that level 2 walls are first introduced in the next map, Rocky Fort.
Other fun facts: Many of the Goblin maps, even the higher-level ones, are not fully sealed up by walls. Many use a type of funnel system with the walls to destroy your troops with bombs or spring traps, or just to slow them down while they get pummeled by the Goblin defenses. The first Goblin Village to be fully sealed by walls is Cannonball Run, but even then, it still has holes in the base where you can deploy troops inside of the walls. Gobbotown is the first Goblin Village to be sealed up by walls and has no holes for you to deploy troops inside the base.
Goblin Outpost could be a reference to the “Goblin Outpost” term in Dungeons & Dragons.
Loot Available: 1,000 Gold and 1,500 Elixir Traps: None Troops Needed: 20 Barbarians or 7 Giantsor 1 Balloon Strategy: Deploy 10 Barbarians onto the lower and upper Cannons Or just deploy 7 Giants through the bottom opening. Tip: You can put the troops inside of the base next to the cannons since there is an open area to deploy troops on. Deploy the troops right on top of the two torches. Alternative Strategy: Deploy the Balloon or Clan Castle with Balloons and it will destroy the entire village.
Rocky Fort is the first base to use level 2 walls as part of the main base, along with a few level 1 walls. There is also a level 2 cannon.
Rocky Fort could be a reference to any of the State Parks by the same name.
Loot Available: 1,000 Gold and 1,500 Elixir Traps: 2 Bombs Troops Needed: 10 Barbarians or 2 Giants and 6 Archersor 1 Balloon Strategy: Deploy 5 barbarians per Cannon to destroy them, the Barbarians left over will destroy the rest. Or deploy 1 Giant for each Cannon as meatshields while you deploy Archers to take the Cannons out. Alternative Strategy: Deploy the Balloon or Clan Castle with Balloons and it will destroy the entire village.
There is an army camp that is at the bottom of the map, but it does not count towards the percentage or destruction of the village.
Loot Available: 1,000 Gold and 1,500 Elixir Traps: 2 Bombs Troops Needed: 30 Archers or 1 Balloon Strategy: Deploy 10 Archers per Cannon, the Archers left over will destroy the rest. Alternative Strategy: Deploy the Balloon or Clan Castle with Balloons and it will destroy the entire village.
Cannonball Run partially references the cannons in the village but could also reference “The Cannonball Run” movie starring Burt Reynolds, Roger Moore, Farrah Fawcett, Dom DeLuise, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr., Jackie Chan & Terry Bradshaw.
Two Smoking Barrels
Loot Available: 2,000 Gold and 2,000 Elixir Traps: 4 Bombs Troops Needed: 20 Archers or 6 Giants or 1 Balloon Strategy: Deploy 20 Archers per Cannon, the Archers left over will destroy the rest. Or Deploy 3 Giants per Cannon, the Giants left over will destroy the rest. Alternative Strategy: Deploy the Balloon or Clan Castle with Balloons and it will destroy the entire village.
This is the first village to have a level 4 Cannon. Also on the outside of the base, there are walls that spell out H, C, +
Two Smoking Barrels could just reference the 2 cannons, but I think it is more than likely a reference to the movie “Lock Stock & Two Smoking Barrels” starring Jason Flemyng, Jason Statham, & Dexter Fletcher
Loot Available: 6,000 Gold and 2,000 Elixir Traps: 2 Bombs Troops Needed: 40 Archers or 10 Giants or 1 Balloon Strategy: Deploy 10 Archers per Cannon, the Archers left over will destroy the rest. Or Deploy 5 Giants per opening, (Put one Giant on each opening to set off the bombs, then deploy the rest, the Giants left over will destroy the rest. Alternative Strategy: Deploy the Balloon or Clan Castle with Balloons and it will destroy the entire village.
This is the first village to have level 3 walls and a few random level 5 walls on the outside of the base. There is a statue of a barbarian and a Christmas Tree from the 2012 Winter Update on the map.
Loot Available: 2,000 Gold and 2,000 Elixir Traps: 14 Bombs Troops Needed: 6 Barbarians and 45 Archers or 1 Balloon Strategy: Deploy 15 Archers in a circle around the Mortar. Deploy 3 Barbarians at each Cannon to set off the Bombs. Deploy 15 Archers per Cannon. Alternative Strategy: Deploy the Balloon or Clan Castle with Balloons and it will destroy the entire village.
This is the first village to introduce the Mortar. Also, like the Goblin Gauntlet Village, there is an Army Camp on the outside of the base, but it does not count toward the percentage or the destruction of the base.
The Maginot Line is possibly a reference to the actual Maginot Line (French: Ligne Maginot), named after the French Minister of War André Maginot, is a line of concrete fortifications, obstacles, and weapon installations built by France in the 1930s to deter invasion by Germany and force them to move around the fortifications. The wall around the Mortar will divert Barbarians around it to attack the huts and Gold Storages first.
Loot Available: 3,000 Gold and 6,000 Elixir Traps: 25 Bombs, 1 Pumpkin Bomb (at the right part of the map) Troops Needed: 10 Barbarians and 40 Archers or 1 Balloon Strategy: Deploy 10 Archers per cannon. Deploy some Barbarians to activate the Traps. Deploy the rest of your Archers. Alternative Strategy: Deploy the Balloon or Clan Castle with Balloons and it will destroy the entire village.
Rat Valley has a mix of level 2 & 3 walls & 3 level 2 cannons.
Rat Valley, I am guessing, is in reference to the funnel paths (like a rat in a maze).
Loot Available: 4,000 Gold and 10,000 Elixir Traps: 2 Bombs Troops Needed: 60 Archers or 1 Goblin and 10 Giants or 1 Balloon Strategy: Deploy 30 Archers at each side close to each Cannon. Or Deploy 1 Goblin through the opening to set off the Bombs, then deploy 10 Giants through the opening. Alternative Strategy: Deploy the Balloon or Clan Castle with Balloons and it will destroy the entire village.
Brute Force has a mix of level 1, 2 & 3 walls & 2 level 4 Cannons. There is also a P.E.K.K.A. statue on the outside of the base. There are 2 Pumpkin Bombs on this map as well.
Maybe back when the Goblin Map was new, you would need Brute Force to get through this village. Now, just 1 Balloon will take out this entire map.
Loot Available: 12,000 Gold and 3,000 Elixir Traps: 2 Bombs Troops Needed: 10 Archers and 10 Giants or 10 Giants and 2 Wall Breakersor 1 Balloon Strategy: Deploy 10 Giants at the bottom left side. Deploy the 10 Archers for cleanup. Or Deploy 10 Giants and 2 Wall Breakers next to a Cannon. Alternative Strategy: Deploy the Balloon or Clan Castle with Balloons and it will destroy the entire village.
Gobbotown is the first village to be fully sealed up by walls and has no holes for you to deploy troops inside the base. It also has 6 level 4 Cannons, and a mix of level 1, 2 & 5 walls. Gobbotown now has two barbarian statues inside the village. There is also a Christmas Tree from the 2013 Winter Update too.
Loot Available: 8,000 Gold and 8,000 Elixir Traps: 2 Bombs, 3 Spring Traps Troops Needed: 1 Balloon Strategy: Deploy the Balloon or Clan Castle with Balloons and it will destroy the entire village. Alternative Strategy: N/A
M Is For Mortar is the first village to introduce the Spring Trap. There is also 4 level 4 Cannons & 2 level 1 Mortars and a mix of level 1 & 2 walls. By the time you reach this base, you should have the Clan Castle rebuilt or your own Balloon troops. As with all the previous bases, from this point forward you should be able to make your own Balloon troops or get Balloons in the Clan Castle. Balloons can easily clear out most of the Goblin Map villages.
Loot Available: 8,000 Gold and 8,000 Elixir Traps: 9 Bombs, 2 Spring Traps Troops Needed: 5 Archers and 1 Balloon or 2~3 Balloons Strategy: Destroy the Air Defense with 5 Archers, then deploy your Balloon. Alternative Strategy: Deploy 2~3 Balloons or Clan Castle with Balloons over the Air Defense, and it will destroy the entire village.
Megablaster is the first village to introduce the level 1 Air Defense & 2 level 5 & 1 level 8 Cannon. Also, Spring Traps, Bombs along with a mix of level 1 & 2 walls.
Megablaster could either be a reference to the megablaster heavy assault trooper (Star Wars) so named for the FWMB-10 repeating blaster or “megablaster” that they carried, was a variant of the standard stormtrooper used by the First Order. Or possibly references the Megablaster (also known as Megablast in the SNES/PS version) as a weapon in Chrono Trigger.
Loot Available: 10,000 Gold and 10,000 Elixir Traps: 6 Bombs, 5 Spring Traps Troops Needed: 25 Archers and 1 Balloon or 5 Balloons Strategy: Deploy the 25 Archers to take out the Air Defense and then send in the Balloon. Alternative Strategy: Deploy the 5 Balloon near the Air Defense or Clan Castle with Balloons and it will destroy the entire village.
I am unsure as to what Immovable Object is in reference to, but my only guess is the large rocks used to be unmovable objects, but with the shovel now you can move anything. This is not the first base to have large rocks on it, so it doesn’t make too much sense as to what the Immovable Object is.
Loot Available: 15,000 Gold and 15,000 Elixir Traps: 2 Bombs, 4 Spring Traps Troops Needed: 2 Archers and 1 Balloon Strategy: Deploy 1 or 2 Archers to take out the Air Defenses, be careful of their placement as to not get hit by the Cannons, then deploy the Balloon to finish the base. Alternative Strategy: N/A
There is a Floyds Knobs (a small unincorporated community) in Lafayette Township, Floyd County, Indiana, United States. My guess is it is in reference to Fort Knox, the United States Army Installation in Kentucky that is adjacent to the US Bullion Depository. Used to house the United States’ official gold reserves. If that was the case I would kind of expect the available gold loot should be much more than it currently is.
Loot Available: 10,000 Gold and 12,000 Elixir Traps: 1 Spring Trap Troops Needed: 15~25 Archers and 1 Balloon or a Clan Castle with Balloons Strategy: Deploy the 15~25 Archers on the Archer Tower and Deploy the Balloon over the Cannons to finish up the base. Alternative Strategy: Deploy the Clan Castle with Balloons near the Archer Tower and it will destroy the entire village.
The Archer Tower is introduced at the Watchtower village. The Archer Tower is what is considered the “Watchtower”. It started at level 6 but is now a level 9 Archer Tower. I know this is what other sites say, but the second village (Goblin Forest) has an Archer Tower, so saying this village is where the Archer Tower is introduced is incorrect.
Watchtower has been confirmed by Supercell that it is in reference to the sole Archer Tower.
Loot Available: 20,000 Gold and 6,000 Elixir Traps: 8 Bombs, 3 Spring Traps Troops Needed: 20 Archers, 4 Giants, and 1 Balloon or 16 Balloons Strategy: Use many Balloons or dozens of Archers on both the left and right sides to take out the Archer Towers & Air Defenses. At a minimum, you will need at least 8 level 2 Balloons on each side for this to work. Once those two defenses are taken out, a single Balloon or whatever Balloons are left will take out the rest of the base. Alternative Strategy: N/A
Fools Gold village is the first village to introduce the Skeleton Traps, and they are set to ground. Also, there are 3 windmills and a Barbarian statue on the outside of the village.
Fools Gold or Iron pyrite is a shiny mineral composed of iron disulfide. It looks somewhat like real gold, so it came to be called fool’s gold. I am not sure what that has to do with this village, but you do get much more gold than elixir in this village.
Loot Available: 15,000 Gold and 15,000 Elixir Traps: 10 Bombs, 2 Spring Traps Troops Needed: 50 Archers, 4 Giants, and 1 Balloon or 30 Barbarians and 20 Archers Strategy: Send 10 Barbarians to each of the Archer Towers, then 20 Archers to take out the Air Defenses, then just 1 Balloon to clean up the rest of the base. Alternative Strategy: You can use a Giant on each Archer Tower to tank for the Barbarians or Archers, and then the Balloon to take out the base once the Archer Towers and Air Defenses are gone.
A thoroughfare is a primary passage or way as a transit route through regularly trafficked areas, whether by road on dry land or, by extension, via watercraft or aircraft. On land, a thoroughfare may refer to anything from a multi-lane highway with grade-separated junctions to a rough trail. Probably referencing the clear path right through the entire village.
Loot Available: 17,000 Gold and 17,000 Elixir Traps: 5 Bombs, 6 Spring Traps Troops Needed: 30 Archers, 2 Giants, and 1 Balloon or 50 Barbarians, 2 Wall-breakers and 1 Balloon Strategy: Use a couple of WallBreakers to open the upper right wall next to the Cannon & Archer Towers, then send in about 50 level 3 or higher Barbarians to take out the Cannon and Archer Tower. Then send in a Balloon to finish out the base. Alternative Strategy: A handful of Balloons right next to the Archer Towers should be able to take them out and finish off the base.
Bouncy Castle is the first village to have all level 3 walls.
A Bouncy Castle is a one-room or sometimes multiple room air-filled “Castle” that kids play in during birthday parties. Many times there is a slide that leads out of the bouncy castle, that could be a reference to the long path on the right side of the village.
Loot Available: 20,000 Gold and 20,000 Elixir Traps: 28 Bombs, 6 Spring Traps Troops Needed: 5 Barbarians, 10 Archers, 10 Giants, and 1 Balloon Strategy: Drop 5 Giants on each side of the Air Defenses, avoiding the bombs. Once the Air Defenses are taken out a single Balloon will clear out the rest of the base. Alternative Strategy: N/A
Fikova… Your guess is about as good as mine here, I have no idea. The Mortar surrounded by three walls and a very open village is very similar to the Maginot Line village. The only Fikova I can come up with is Darina Fikova.
Loot Available: 25,000 Gold and 25,000 Elixir Traps: 4 Bombs, 4 Spring Traps Troops Needed: 50 Barbarians, 50 Archers, 10 Giants, and 1 WallBreaker Strategy: Use a WallBreaker to open the bottom and send in 10 Giants to take out everything in the middle of the village. Then use about 10 Barbarians on each Archer Tower followed by 10 Archers to help take out the Archer Towers. Alternative Strategy: Use the Giants and Archers to take out each of the Archer Towers, and then use the WallBreaker and Barbarians to take out everything in the middle of the village.
Gobbo Campus is the first village to have all level 2 walls.
Gobbo Campus… I have no clue, other than maybe it is a reference to Goblin Campus? A Goblin University? Also, there are actually many people with the last name of Gobbo as well, but I don’t know what that could reference.
Loot Available: 30,000 Gold and 30,000 Elixir Traps: 4 Bombs, 2 Spring Traps Troops Needed: 15 Barbarians, 40 Archers, 10 Giants, 1 Balloon, and 2 Goblins Strategy: 1 Goblin on each entrance will clear out the Spring Traps and Bombs. Dropping a couple of Giants with Archers behind them at each Archer Tower will take out each one. As the Giants work their way to the inside you can follow them up with Barbarians and more Archers to finish out the middle. Alternative Strategy: Place 2 Giants at each Archer Tower, except the very top one, then 1 Wizard at each of the Archer Towers behind the Giants. Deploy more Giants at the top Archer Tower and 3 Lightning Spells to take out the Air Defense, then clean up the rest with a Balloon.
Danny Boy village is the first village in which a single Maxed P.E.K.K.A. cannot beat on her own, no matter where you have her start. (As of Oct 2021)
My first thought when I hear “Danny Boy” is “Oh Danny Boy, Danny Boy, Danny Boy, I get knocked down, but I get up again, You’re never gonna keep me down.” (Chumbawamba – I Get Knocked Down). What I didn’t know was there are a TON of songs called “Danny Boy”. So it could be a reference to either or neither. Since Chumbawamba is from Burnley, United Kingdom, and Supercell is based in Helsinki, Finland I’m going with “I Get Knocked Down”.
Loot Available: 35,000 Gold and 35,000 Elixir Traps: 13 Bombs, 2 Spring Traps Troops Needed: 30 Barbarians, 40 Archers, 10 Giants or 25 Giants, 1 Wall-breaker, and 1 Balloon Strategy: Drop a couple of Barbarians on the two trees in the village to clear out some of the bombs. Then place 5 Giants followed by some Barbarians at each tree to work on the middle. Then some Archers to take out the Mortars at the left side, and Barbarians followed by Archers to take out the 2 Archer Towers on the right side. Alternative Strategy: 25 Giants and a WallBreaker at the Archer Towers on the right side to take out the Archer Towers and Air Defenses and the 1 Balloon to take out the rest of the village. The other 2 Archer Towers should stay distracted by the Giants.
I would think this is pretty straightforward and is in reference to Omaha Beach. Omaha, commonly known as Omaha Beach, was the code name for one of the five sectors of the Allied invasion of German-occupied France in the Normandy landings on June 6, 1944, during World War II.
Walls of Steel
Loot Available: 40,000 Gold and 40,000 Elixir Traps: 19 Bombs (2 not visible behind the Archer Towers), 11 Spring Traps Troops Needed: 15 Barbarians, 12 Giants, 2 Balloons or 8 Balloons Strategy: There are Spring Traps and Bombs at all three of the entrances to the village. Place a handful of Barbarians at each entrance to activate these. Next, use Giants followed by Archers to destroy the Archer Towers & Mortar. Then place 1 Balloon to finish off the rest of the village. Alternative Strategy: Deploy 3 Balloons at each of the Archer Towers.
Walls of Steel is the first village to have level 4 walls.
Walls of Steel could be a reference to Duke Nukem when he says he has Balls of Steel. Or if you are a fan of the TV show Charmed it could be in reference to a spell called Walls of Steel. Walls of Steel is a fortification spell that can at least be used to strengthen and stabilize objects that are rapidly destabilizing. It is unclear if this spell can be used on living beings, but it proved successful when used on a magically unstable bag that had been used for a containment spell. Even though there are 3 gaping holes in the walls.
Loot Available: 45,000 Gold and 45,000 Elixir Traps: 8 Bombs, 14 Spring Traps Troops Needed: 60 Barbarians and 1 Balloon or 26 Giants and 1 Balloon Strategy: Deploy Barbarians at the 2 Archer Towers up top, then drop a few at the Archer Tower at the bottom, then one Balloon will take care of the rest. Alternative Strategy: You can use about 4 Ballons at the bottom Tower and about 3 at each of the top towers.
The Sicilian Defence is a chess opening that begins with the following moves: 1. e4 c5 The Sicilian is the most popular and best-scoring response to White’s first move 1.e4. Opening 1.d4 is a statistically more successful opening for White because of the high success rate of the Sicilian defense against 1.e4
Loot Available: 20,000 Gold and 80,000 Elixir Traps: 4 Bombs, 4 Spring Traps, 5 Level 3 Skeleton Traps (at the bottom corner of the map) Troops Needed: 108 Archers and 6 Wall-breakers or 3 Lightning Spells, 50 Barbarians and 50 Archers Strategy: Use about 20 Archers on each of the 4 Archer Towers first. Use the 6 WallBreakers to get into the bottom right wall area and then use the rest of the Archers to go after the Wizard Towers and finish off the village. Alternative Strategy: Use 3 Lightning Spells on the Wizard Towers and use the Barbarians and Archers to finish off the Archer Towers and the rest of the village.
Obsidian Tower is the first village to have the Wizard Tower. There is now a Halloween Headstone from the 2014 Halloween Update. If you deploy any troops down there, it will trigger 5 skeleton traps.
Loot Available: 60,000 Gold and 60,000 Elixir Traps: 2 Hidden Teslas Troops Needed: 60 Barbarians, 40 Archers and 2 Balloons or 3 Lightning Spells, 20 Giants and 1 Healer Strategy: Use Barbarians to take out each of the 4 Archer Towers, and then Archers to take out the 2 Hidden Teslas & the Air Defense. Then just clear the rest with a Balloon. Alternative Strategy: You can use 3 Lightning Spells to get rid of the Air Defense, and 20 Giants and a Healer to clear out this village.
Arrow Head could be a reference to bottled water with the same name or just a reference to an actual Native American Arrow Head Artifact. Or possibly Lake Arrowhead Resort & Spa or YMCA Camp Arrowhead. I just don’t know how any of those relates to this village.
Loot Available: 70,000 Gold and 70,000 Elixir Traps: 8 Bombs Troops Needed: 60 Barbarians, 60 Archers and 2 Balloons or 3 Lightning Spells and 200 Barbarians Strategy: Use the Barbarian followed by Archers to take out the Archer Towers, and Air Defense. Then Archers can shoot over the walls to take out the Wizard Towers, and then use a Balloon to finish out the base. Alternative Strategy: Use the 3 Lightning Spells to clear out the Mortars and then just send in Barbarians
Based on the village design the hole opening on the left side is them “Rolling Out the Red Carpet” and letting you right into the base. Lucky for you there are no traps at the opening.
Loot Available: 150,000 Gold and 2,000 Elixir Traps: 4 Bombs, 2 Spring Traps Troops Needed: 15 Archers and 2 Balloons or 1 Wall-breaker, 1 Giant, 1 Wizard, and 1 Minion Strategy: Use the Archers to take out the Air Defense and then a Balloon to take out the rest. Alternative Strategy: Use the WallBreaker, Giant, and Wizard to take out the Air Defense, then use a Minion to finish out the rest of the village.
There is a Gold Storage close to the bottom of the screen that is surrounded by level 5 walls. Once you get close to it you will find it is protected by 4 Hidden Teslas
My only guess for Natural Defense is the village is using the surrounding trees as a ‘Natural Defense’ to “stop” you from getting an easy attack.
Loot Available: 80,000 Gold and 80,000 Elixir Traps: 30 Bombs, 3 Spring Traps Troops Needed: 140 Barbarians and 4 Wall-breakers or Balloons, Minions & Archers Strategy: Deploy a few Giants next to the bottom Mortar to take it out. Then drop a Giant as a meat shield near the top Mortar and then use a few Archers to take out that Mortar. With both Mortars gone use a bunch of Barbarians and Archers near the Archer Towers and they should be able to overwhelm the remaining defenses. Alternative Strategy: Use Balloons to rush the gap in the red area near the bottom of the base. Use Rage Spells or Minions and Archers to help the Balloons.
If you use the top right hole in the wall you will encounter two very long rows of bombs before getting into the first row of interior walls. Or you can place troops right next to the Archer Tower or Mortar and completely skip the bombs.
The walls on this village are level 4 walls which according to Supercell are solid iron. Yet for two of the villages now that use level 4 walls they use the word “Steel” in the name of the village.
The primary difference between iron & steel is that iron is a metal, & steel is an alloy. Iron is a metal element that occurs naturally on Earth. Steel is a man-made alloy that’s made by mixing iron & carbon.
Loot Available: 90,000 Gold and 90,000 Elixir Traps: 12 Bombs, 4 Spring Traps Troops Needed: 15 Barbarians, 100 Archers and 4 Wall-breakers or 30 Giants and 1 Heal Spell Strategy: Drop a few Barbarian to clear out all the bomb traps at the entrance. Then destroy the upper Wall with the WallBreakers. Send in about 15 Barbarians at the top. Deploy 20 Archers to take out the Mortar. Then use 60 Archers by the 4 Archer Towers at the bottom. (You can place the Archer right next to them since there is a hole there. Then deploy the last 20 Archers at the last Cannon. Alternative Strategy: Set off the Bombs with 1 Giant, then send in the rest of the Giants as close to the Archer Towers as possible. Use the Healing Spell as the Giants work towards the center.
Queen’s Gambit is the first village to use all level 5 walls.
Mainly The Queen’s Gambit is probably the most popular gambit and although most gambits are said to be unsound against perfect play the queen’s gambit is said to be the exception. The Queen’s Gambit is one of the oldest and most reputable 1.d4 openings for White. Unlike 1.e4 openings, the Queen’s Gambit usually evolves into a strategic game rather than an all-out tactical battle. Despite being around for centuries, this opening is still one of the cornerstones of every elite players’ repertoire. It’s also an excellent choice for beginners and intermediate players. The objective of the queen’s gambit is to temporarily sacrifice a pawn to gain control of the center of the board.
By the looks of the village, you need to sacrifice some pawns for you to gain control of the center of the base. The opening at the left side of the base is lined with bombs, so sacrificing some Barbarians or a Giant will clear a path for you to get to the center.
Also more recently The Queen’s Gambit refers to a TV Mini-Series from 2020. So there is no way SuperCell could be referencing a show that wasn’t around back then.
Loot Available: 50,000 Gold and 140,000 Elixir Traps: 3 Spring Traps, 4 Pumpkin Bombs (each behind the different big rock at the right part) Troops Needed: 20 Giants, 8 Wall-breakers and 1 Balloon or 40 Minions Strategy: You need to take out the Air Defenses with the Giants and then deploy the Balloon to let it destroy all the buildings. Deploy 4 Wall Breakers on each of the top and bottom of the left side to destroy the Walls. Then deploy 10 Giants at each open side to take out the Air Defenses. Finally, deploy the Balloon to finish it out. Alternative Strategy: Deploy 40 Minions at the bottom. The Air Defenses can’t take them out fast enough.
Full Frontal also has all level 5 walls.
There used to be Pumpkin Bombs behind each of the 4 big rocks, but I think they are all gone now. (As of Oct 2021)
I am unsure what Full Frontal references, but I seriously doubt it is in reference to Samantha Bee’s failure of a show called Full Frontal only because it came out in 2016 and (although I can’t find exact dates) the Goblin Map was before that.
Chimp In Armor
Loot Available: 150,000 Gold and 50,000 Elixir Traps: 12 Bombs Troops Needed: 100 Barbarians, 30 Archers, 6 Wall-breakers and 1 Balloon or 15 Giants, 6 Wall-breakers, 1 Healer and 10 Balloons Strategy: Use the WallBreakers to destroy the walls on both sides (top & bottom) to make room for the Barbarians so they can attack the Air Defenses and Wizard Towers. Once these are destroyed we let the Balloon destroy the village. Alternative Strategy: Deploy 10-15 Giants followed up by Wall Breakers on the right side, near the Level 4 Walls. Let them destroy the Air Defense, then deploy a Healer or two. As the Giants work through the base deploy about 6-10 Balloons to clear out the other Air Defense and other remaining Wizard Towers. Or use 3 Lightning Spells at the right Air Defense, then deploy a few Balloons to defeat the other one. Use Minions or Dragons to take care of the rest.
Since there are no Chimpanzees in Clash of Clans, I am guessing they are referencing the phrase “Chink In One’s Armor”. The idiom “Chink In One’s Armor” refers to an area of vulnerability. It has traditionally been used to refer to a weak spot in a figurative suit of armor. The standard meaning is similar to that of Achilles’ heel.
Chimp In Armor would refer to the base having a few spots of level 4 & level 3 walls among the level 5 walls, thus the weak points in the “armor”.
Loot Available: 110,000 Gold and 110,000 Elixir Traps: 5 Spring Traps Troops Needed: 30 Barbarians, 85 Archers and 11 Balloons or 2 Giants, 70 Archers and 8 Balloons or 20 Giants, 2 Healers and 1 Heal Spell Strategy: In this village, we need to take out some defenses first, in order to get the Balloons in to finish it off. Deploy 2 Giants to distract the defenses at the top right. Then deploy 50 Archers to destroy the Archer Tower, Air Defense & Wizard Tower all on the right side. Then deploy the leftover Archers to help destroy the other Wizard Tower on the bottom outside. Deploy a Giant in the left corner to distract the Archer Tower and Wizard Tower. Then place 3 Balloons at the bottom and 6 at the top to attack the Wizard Tower that’s left. Alternative Strategy: Use a Giant-Healer combo from the right side where the Air Defense is located. Drop a Healing Spell whenever necessary. Or use a triple Lightning Spell in the area near the Air Defense and remove the anti-air towers. use Balloons from the left side.
Although Faulty Towers probably references the 3 Wizard Towers and the 2 Archer Towers, I am hoping it also references a great TV sitcom show with a similar name, “Fawlty Towers”. Fawlty Towers is a British television sitcom written by John Cleese and Connie Booth, broadcast on BBC2 in 1975 and 1979.
Loot Available: 120,000 Gold and 120,000 Elixir Traps: 11 Bombs, 5 Spring Traps Troops Needed: 30 Barbarians, 100 Archers and 3 Balloons or 2 Giants, 1 Wizard and 6 Balloons or 15 Giants, 2 Wall-breakers and 1 Healer Strategy: In this village, you need to take out the Wizard Towers and Air Defenses with Barbarians and Archers. Then deploy the Balloons. Place a few Barbarians by the Wizard Tower first to let the Bombs go off. Deploy the rest of the Barbarians in waves around the Wizard Tower. Deploy 15 Archers at the Archer Towers in waves to destroy them. then deploy the Balloons to finish it off. Alternative Strategy: To play safe and ensure success, you may also use a Giant-Healer combo from the top where the Air Defense is located. Or deploy 2 Giants at the Air Defense, then place a single Wizard behind. Once the Air Defense is destroyed, deploy 3 Balloons at each remaining Archer Towers.
In the military, the Point Man is the first soldier on a patrol. The point man was originally “A soldier who goes ahead of patrol,” or sometimes “the commanding officer.” In reference to this village, I would guess they are referencing the Wizard Tower that is out on its own in the ‘front’.
Loot Available: 130,000 Gold and 130,000 Elixir Traps: 6 Bombs, 4 Spring Traps Troops Needed: 125 Archers and 2 Balloons or 2 Giants, 4 Wall-breakers, 50 Barbarians, and 50 Archers Strategy: Destroy the 2 Archer Towers on the top and bottom with about 15 Archers, then take out the Archer Tower and the Air Defenses in the middle with as many Archers as it takes. Finally, deploy your Balloons to finish off the base. Alternative Strategy: Drop a few Giants as distractions for the Mortars, then destroy the Mortars with Archers. Swarm the rest of the base with Barbarians and Archers. Or use 2 Dragons, 5 Balloons, and a Rage Spell to clear the Air Defenses. At the same time, use 3 Balloons to take care of the Archer Towers.
I doubt this is in reference to AAA (American Automobile Association) Roadside Assistance Plan. My only guess is the village sort of looks like an A, turned upsidedown. Why Triple A? I have no ideas.
Loot Available: 120,000 Gold and 270,000 Elixir Traps: 5 Bombs, 4 Spring Traps Troops Needed: 4 Giants, 3 Wall-breakers, 150 Archers and 1 Balloon or 20 Giants, 4 Wall-breakers, and 2 Healers Strategy: First, destroy the Air Defenses & Archer Tower with about 20 Archers. Then destroy the Wizard Towers to deploy your Balloon. Distract the Mortar at the bottom with a Giant and send Wall Breakers to break the wall. Deploy 10 Giants to attack the mortar & deploy 30 Archers to help the Giants take out the 2 Wizard Towers and the Archer Tower at the bottom left. Deploy the rest of the Archers to take out the Mortar and Cannon on the right side. Let your Archers destroy the village. If they are killed, deploy the Balloon. Alternative Strategy: Use the Giant-Healer combo from the top-right side of the base, with WallBreakers to get inside the base.
There used to be an Easter egg on this level put in around the July 2015 Update. But as of Oct 2021, it is not there anymore. If you dropped a Jump Spell on the P.E.K.K.A. Statue in the bottom right of the village, then deploy some troops to get over the statue. Once they’re inside, they’ll trip on something. Santa Claus will appear and drop several presents.
Your guess is as good as mine as to why this is called Goblin Picnic, there is a Stories Podcast called “The Goblin Picnic!” but that came out well after this village, so I am not sure.
Bait ‘n Switch
Loot Available: 140,000 Gold and 140,000 Elixir Traps: 30 Bombs, 2 Spring Traps Troops Needed: 60 Archers and 1 Balloon or 1 Dragon and 6 Balloons Strategy: Deploy 20~30 Archers on each Air Defense and then let your Balloon finish up the rest. Alternative Strategy: Use one Dragon per Air Defense, and use 3 Balloons per Air Defense to support the Dragons.
Bait ‘n Switch is an unethical practice in sales whereby the actual product for sale differs substantially from its advertised quality or other attributes. So in this village, it seems obvious, with the elixir and gold storages are on the outside and easy for you to get to. Yet when you move in your ground troops will be taken out by Bombs that surround the storages, along with the Cannons that will attack you as well.
Loot Available: 150,000 Gold and 150,000 Elixir Traps: 8 Spring Traps Troops Needed: 100 Archers and 1 Balloon or 25 Minions, Rage Spell and 6 Balloons Strategy: Use about 20~30 Archers to take out the Air Defense, (watch out for the Spring Traps) Wizard Tower & Archer Tower. Then just use the Balloon to finish out. Alternative Strategy: Deploy the 25 Minions on the Air Defense, then drop a Rage Spell as they get close to the center of the base, and then drop 3 Balloons on the Wizard Tower and 3 on the Archer Tower.
Collateral Damage is the killing of civilians in a military attack or any damage incidental to an activity. My guess is that while you are trying to take out the Air Defense, Archer Tower, and Wizard Tower your troops are going to get plenty of Collateral Damage from the 2 Mortars.
Loot Available: 150,000 Gold and 150,000 Elixir Traps: 9 Bombs, 2 Spring Traps Troops Needed: 60 Archers, 18 Giants, 4 Wall-breakers, 4 Goblins, and 4 Balloons or 8 Giants, 4 Wizards, 10 Hog Riders & 1 Heal Spell. Strategy: Use Wall Breakers to make an opening by each Mortar and then send in 9 Giants on each side to take out the Mortars. The Giant will then work their way to the middle of the base. Once the Mortars are gone use about 30 Archers on each of the Archer Towers, and then the Goblins & Balloons can help clean up the middle. Alternative Strategy: Deploy 2 Giants followed by 1 Wizard at each of the 4 corner defenses. Then send all the Hog Riders to the center and drop the Healing Spell in the center of the base.
Choose Wisely I am guessing references the opening at the top right, if your troops head to the left they will be killed by all the Bombs.
Loot Available: 150,000 Gold and 150,000 Elixir Traps: 13 Bombs, 5 Spring Traps Troops Needed: 25 Archers, 6 Giants, 15 Balloons & 2 Heal Spells Strategy: Use 1-2 Giants & about 3-5 Archers per Archer Towers on the outside. As soon as they are all destroyed, use a single Archer for each Air Defense. Once all the Air Defenses are destroyed, send in all the Balloons against the remaining Archer Tower. Use the Healing Spells to keep the group of Balloons alive as they then go on to attack the Wizard Towers. Once all the Wizard Towers are destroyed, they will finish up the rest of the base. Alternative Strategy: Same as above but use Hog Riders instead of Balloons.
I have no guesses as to what Mega Evil is in reference to.
Loot Available: 200,000 Gold and 200,000 Elixir Traps: 16 Bombs, 7 Spring Traps Troops Needed: 20 Giants 20 Archers, 3 Wall Breakers, & 2 Healing Spells or 50 Archers, 3 Giants, 3 Wall Breakers, 14 Balloons Strategy: Deploy about 10 Giants on each Archer Tower with about 10 Archers on each as well. Once the Giants move towards the Cannons place 3 Wall Breakers to get the Giants through. Use the Healing Spells to keep the Giants going through the middle. Alternative Strategy: Use 10 Archers to remove the two Archer Towers, then use 6 Archers to take out each Air Defense. It will take some time for the Archers to get through the walls to get the top and bottom two. Once the 4 Archers break through the walls send in 10 Archers to take out the top and bottom 2 Air Defenses. (40 Archers in total.) Send in 3 Wall Breakers and 3 Giants on the left side to distract the 2 Wizard Towers. Then send in 7 Balloons for each Wizard Tower with 1 Heal Spell for the Balloons. The Balloons will finish out the village.
Loot Available: 250,000 Gold and 250,000 Elixir Traps: 6 Bombs, 4 Spring Traps Troops Needed: 125 Archers and 1 Balloon or 70 Barbarians and 70 Archers Strategy: Use about 20 Archers to take out each of the Air Defenses and the 2 Wizard Towers, then 1 Balloon can clean up the rest Alternative Strategy: Drop a few Barbarians with Archers behind them to take out the Wizard Towers. Next, send Barbarians in the bottom hole to take care of both Mortars. Use the remaining Barbarians and Archers to clear the rest of the single-target defenses.
Oh, I don’t know… Foreigner – Cold As Ice??? Although I don’t think that song has anything to do with this base. This base is interesting because if you deploy ground troops they have a path that they will follow all the way around the base.
Loot Available: 300,000 Gold and 300,000 Elixir Traps: 7 Bombs, 18 Spring Traps Troops Needed: 170 Archers, 1 Balloon or 40 Barbarians, 4 Giants, 40 Archers, 1 Balloon Strategy: 12 Archers to take out each of the 2 far left Archer Towers, then 10 Archers at a time to take out the next 2 Archer Towers. The Mortars will take out your Archers so only put down about 10 at a time. Then do the same with the 2 Air Defenses (10 Archers at a time). Finally, 1 Balloon will finish the rest. Alternative Strategy: 20 Barbarians at each Air Defense (avoid the Spring Traps) Then place 1 Giants & 10 Archers at each Archer Tower, then 1 Balloon to clean up the rest.
House of Pain – Jump Around? but just like the previous village, I have no idea what that has to do with this base. Other than you could use a bunch of Hog Riders and Heal Spells here to finish this base.
Loot Available: 400,000 Gold and 400,000 Elixir Traps: 36 Bombs, 2 Spring Traps, 5 Hidden Teslas Troops Needed: 2 Healers, 36 Giants, 4 Wall Breakers or 70 Barbarians, 4 Giants, 22 Ballons Strategy: Place 18 Giants at each Air Defenses and then deploy Wall Breakers to get in and then place 2 Healers to heal up Giants. Alternative Strategy: Deploy 10 Barbarians on each Air Defense, and repeat until they are gone. Drop 2 Giants where the Air Defenses were and then 6 Balloons to take out the Archer Tower and Wizard Tower. Then repeat that same thing on the 2 on the left side. Deploy about 10 Barbarians next to the 3 Archer Towers to distract them and then the rest of the Balloons to take out the Archer Towers. Once the Balloons get close to the top side of the base, deploy the rest of the Barbarians spread across the entire top side to trigger and distract all of the Hidden Teslas, while the Balloons get closer to take them out.
Kitchen Sink I am guessing this is in reference to the phrase “Everything but the kitchen sink” The phrase originated around the early 1900s and the first print reference can be found in 1918 in the newspaper The Syracuse Herald. The expression became popular during World War II, where it was said that everything but the kitchen sink was thrown at the enemy. This lead to the erroneous belief that the phrase originated during WWII. Source: theidioms.com
Why that phrase? Because this is the first village that one of every defense. Cannon, Air Defense, Mortar, Archer Tower, Wizard Tower, and Hidden Teslas. Well, at the time it was one of everything as of Oct 2021 there are many more defenses. Air Sweeper, Bomb Tower, X-Bow, Inferno Tower, Eagle Artillery, Scattershot, & the Builder Hut
Loot Available: 500,000 Gold and 500,000 Elixir Traps: 42 Bombs, 6 Spring Traps, 1 Giant Bomb, 2 Air Bombs, 7 Hidden Teslas Troops Needed: 56 Archers, 4 Giants, 2 Wall Breakers, 6 Dragons, and 3 Lightning Spells Strategy: Drop a Giant to trigger the two far-right Hidden Teslas, and place 2 Wall Breakers to get the Giants into the Teslas. Drop 3 Lightning Spells in the middle of the 2 Teslas & the 2 Air Defenses. Drop the rest of the Giants followed by Archers to take out the 2 Teslas. Deploy all of the Dragons to take out the last Air Defense. Alternative Strategy: N/A
I am not sure what Rolling Terror references, but my only guess is that if you use ground troops and start from the right side, you will have a TON of Bombs to get through if you don’t use Wall Breakers to get to the center area.
Rolling Terror is the first village to introduce the Giant Bomb & Air Bombs.
Loot Available: 600,000 Gold and 600,000 Elixir Traps: 13 Bombs, 4 Spring Traps Troops Needed: 105 Archers, 17 Giants, 5 Wall Breakers, 3 Heal Spells Strategy: Deploy 1 Giant to distract both Wizard Towers at the bottom right and then 9 Archers on each Wizard Tower. Use 20 Archers to take out the far left Archer Tower. Make sure to spread them out and don’t put them down all at once to avoid getting them all killed by the Mortars. Place all 16 Giants at the bottom Archer Tower and 2 Wall Breakers to get through the walls next to the Giants. Then use a Heal Spell once the Giants are in and close to the Wizard Tower. Drop-in some Archers behind the Giants to back them up. Use the remaining Archers at the top to take out the Archer Tower and work on the Cannons. Use the remaining Heal Spells if needed for the Giants. Alternative Strategy: N/A
I am not sure what Megamansion references, other than it just looks cool and has a TON of defenses all over the place.
Loot Available: 700,000 Gold and 700,000 Elixir Traps: 6 Bombs, 12 Spring Traps, 3 Giant Bombs, 2 Air Bombs, 6 Hidden Teslas Troops Needed: 48 Archers, 2 Goblins, 20 Giants, 4 Wall Breakers, 3 Healers, 3 Heal Spells or 3 Lightning Spells, 1 Earthquake Spell, 5 Dragons, 2 Golems, Remainder Wizards. Strategy: Deploy 2 Wall Breakers at the bottom right side center to set off the giant bombs and spring traps in that middle open center area. Deploy 4 giants and 24 archers (spread out) at each of the Wizard Tower / Archer Tower combos on the right side. Deploy 2 Wall Breakers on the right side again to get the troops into the Air Defense area. Deploy 7 Giants to get to the middle to destroy the middle air defenses. You can use a healing spell here if needed. When the air defense is destroyed, deploy the last 7 Giants and the healers at the bottom center Wizard Tower. The Giants will go around now and destroy the defenses on the outside. Use healing spells where needed. You can also add your barbarian king to help and the Goblins to clear out the Storages in the middle. Alternative Strategy: First place all three Lightning Spells between the 2 Air Defenses, then finish them off with an Earthquake Spell. Send the 2 Golems in on each side so the Archers Towers and Wizards Towers on the right side followed by Wizards behind each Golem. Send all the Dragons in from the top left side.
There is also an Easter egg, someone called Lava Hound can be found here so keep a sharp eye out for him. I saw this posted online but I have not seen anything here about that, so I’m guessing it has been removed from the game.
Why is it called P.E.K.K.A.’s Playhouse? I have no guesses.
Loot Available: 800,000 Gold and 800,000 Elixir Traps: 33 Bombs, 5 Spring Traps, 2 Giant Bombs, 4 Air Bombs, 3 Hidden Teslas Troops Needed: 6 PEKKA’s, 4 Wall Breakers, 2 Dragons, and 3 Heal Spells or 2 Golems, 4 PEKKA’s, 4 Wall Breakers, and the rest Wizards, 2 Rage Spells, and 1 Heal Spell. Strategy: Deploy the 4 Wall Breakers at the center of the left wall. Deploy the 6 PEKKA’s and Healing Spells as needed to keep them healed up. When the air defenses are down deploy your 2 dragons onto the bottom right Wizard Tower. Alternative Strategy: GoWiPE – Same as above but send the Golems in first, then the PEKKA’s followed up by the Wizards. Use the 2 Rage and Heal in the middle of the base to get them through.
This was the very last village in the single-player campaign (Goblin Map) before the 11.49.4 update on October 23rd, 2018.
My only guess as to why it is called Sherbet Towers is due to the 6 Wizard Towers.
This guide/walkthrough is fully updated as of Oct 2021.
